Social Development Organization distributed 100 tons of Ramadan food baskets to 1,118 poor and drought-affected families in IDP camps outside the capital Mogadishu this project funded by French Islamic Association of Education (LIFE).
The relief items distributed to displaced and affected families include several basic items such as rice, flour, sugar, cooking oil, milk and dates. Each family received sufficient quantities for about one month.
Abdi Fattah Hassan Ahmed, Vice President and Executive Director of the Social Development Organization, expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to LIFE who funded this emergency relief program, hoping to continue supporting Somali people affected by natural disasters.
